Kidepo Safari Uganda, Flying Tour to Uganda

Flying Safari to Kidepo National Park 4 days.

Day 1

You will be transferred to Kajansi airstrip to catch your charter flight to Kidepo National Park . It harbours scenery unsurpassed in any other park in East Africa . Sites to look out for include ; the mountain and savannah of the park that is spectacular, the Narus valley in south west of the park; the rugged Napore-Nyagea mountain range that forms its western boundary. You will reach the park in the afternoon and then go for an evening game drive Dinner and overnight at Apoka Rest Camp (FB).

Day 2/3

Early in the morning go for a game drive to checkout the variety of species the park harbours. Carnivore species unique to Kidepo and Karamoja region include the bateared fox, striped hyena, aardwolf, caracal, cheetah and hunting dog. Watch out for the less common ungulates such as the greater and lesser kudu, Chandlers Mountain reedbuck, klipspringers, dikdik, cape buffalo, bush elephant, burchell’s zebra, bushbuck, bush pig, wartthog, Rothschild giraffe, eland, Jackson’s hartebeest and oribi. Lastly are the five species of primates are found in the park of which the Kavironod bush baby is endemic. In the afternoon you will then be entertained in some of the traditional dances in the region. Apoka Rest Camp (FB).

Day 4

Have breakfast to go transfer to the airstrip to catch your charter flight back to Entebbe .
