A Forest walk in Mpanga Forest .

Day One

You will have breakfast to be transferred to Mpanga Forest . You will drive along Masaka Road to reach the forest. It is located 36 Km from Kampala and it harbours a variety of fauna and flora species. The walk in the forest will reward you with species like red-tailed monkeys, bushbucks, bush pigs and flying squirrels.

You should expect birds like the blue breasted kingfisher, African grey parrot, black and white casqued hornbill, African pied hornbill, and the great blue turaco among the more amazing and abundant of the 180-plus bird species recorded. The forest is also noted for its abundant butterflies you will find wherever you walk. After the walk you will be transferred back to your hotel.
