History of Kenya
Kenyan got independence from the British Rule, later marked by the election of Jomo Kenyatta as the first President, under KANU party as a single party state of Kenya on the 12 December 1963, who ruled until his death in 1978.The country has since enjoyed development and stability.
Climate of Kenya
Kenya has good climatic conditions and the best time of the year to visit is from July to September. In winter one can have a choice from January to February. Long rainy seasons are always from mid – March to May and the “short rains” from June – October and warm from December – February. And Lake Victoria region, altitude is the main determinant of precipitation. The high-attitude areas (over c. 1,500 m) in the central Kenya highlands usually have substantial rainfall, reaching over 2,000 mm per year in parts of the Mau Escarpment.
