Single Day wildlife tour.
Day 1
You will have breakfast to head to Entebbe-the botanical gardens that were established in 1901. The gardens give a good introduction to the birds of Uganda ranging from Lake Victoria specials such as Jackson’s golden-backed weaver, grey kestrel, slender billed weaver and the Yellow throated love leaf to the more wide spread but non- the less striking black-headed gonolek, grey-caped warbler, red chested sunbird, and common wattle eye. You can be certain to also see the vervet, black and white colobus monkeys as well as tree squirrels.
You will have lunch and then proceed to the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC) the former Zoo that was established as a sanctuary for animals which would not be able to fend for them selves in the wild. There you will view animals like lions, black rhinos, buffaloes, donkeys, monkeys, gorillas and a variety of small predators that are seldom seen in the wild. These give you a crew about the animals of Uganda. Overnight at Entebbe resort beach / Speke hotel / Hotel Africana.
