Itinerary

Day One kampala City – Lake Mburo National Park

Drive from Kampala towards the west to Lake Mburo National Park to encounter game while traveling. The park harbours several species not easily observed else where in Uganda . Have lunch at the main campsite and in the afternoon embark on a boat ride on Lake Mburo to view Hippos, buffaloes, warthogs, bush pigs at the shores of the Lake

Watch out for acacia associated birds such as black bellied bustard, mosque swallow and bare faced go-away birds. Dinner and overnight (LD)

Day Two Lake Mburo – Queen Elizabeth National Park

In the morning take breakfast to go for another game drive through the park before you head off to Queen Elizabeth national park. Watch out for game enroute to reach in time for lunch have lunch at lodge as you prepare for a boat ride on the Kazinga channel in the afternoon. Go for the boat ride in the afternoon expects to see a swamp of hippopotamus, Buffaloes and variety of water birds both residents and non residents.Dinner and a night (BLD)

Day Three Queen Elizabeth National Park Activities – Bwindi Gorilla Park

Take a cup of tea, to go for a game drive to in the park to watch out for animals like Lions, elephants, buffaloes, topi, Uganda Kobs and defassa waterbucks. Retire from the game drive for breakfast at the Lodge. Pack lunch to drive off to Bwindi through the Ishasha sector. Watch out for game like climbing lions and many more while traveling Have lunch enroute and proceed to Bwindi. Dinner and a night (BLD)

Day Four Morning gorilla trekking

Go for briefing at the park headquarters, to set off for gorilla tracking. The activity takes about 3 – 10 hours but this is dependant on the movement of the Gorilla. Gorilla tracking is can be exhausting but the experience of viewing them feed, play and interact is worth the struggle. Dinner and overnight (BLD)

Day Five Bwindi gorilla Park – Lake Bunyonyi

Take breakfast to drive off to Lake Buyonyi- “place of small birds” although even large birds are available in the area. Go for a boat ride to view game and variety of bird species. Retire from the ride to do any activity of your choice. Dinner and overnight (BLD)

Day Six Return to Kampala City

Take breakfast and then embark on the journey back to Kampala. You will have a lunch enroute to proceed to Kampala. (BL)
