9 DAYS GORILLAS IN BWINDI, WILDLIFE IN MURCHISON, CHIMPS IN KIBALE, AND WILDLIFE-QUEEN ELIZABETH N.P

Itinerary

Day 1 : To  Bwindi Gorilla National park

After your breakfast at 07:30am, begin panoramic Safari south-word to Bwindi Gorilla Park through the Kigezi Highlands in the beauties of the “Switzerland of Africa”. You will stop for pictures at the Equator, this safari will allow you to get good shorts of pictures from your car window, for long horned cattle, side markets and stop for Lunch in Mbarara, at Agip Motel. Proceed after to Bwindi gorilla arriving in the evening to your hotel / lodge (L.D)

Day 2: Bwindi National park

Early in the morning briefing at 7:45am gorilla tracking begins afterwords, lunch will be served at your accommodation and afternoon village walk to the pygmies to learn more of these people culture, returning later for dinner and overnight (BLD).

Day 3: Bwindi National park – Queen Elizabeth National

After breakfast leave for Queen Elizabeth National Park to the Northern Sector of Mweya peninsular, if you are lucky might see some of these animals resting under the trees. Arrive in the early afternoon to hotel / lodge and feel the real fresh air of your accommodation. Check – in, lunch then an evening game drive will crown this day with dinner and over night. (BLD)

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National

Morning game drive after early warm up tea or coffee at 6:00am, return for a full breakfast before a 2nd Game drive (Optional) to the crater area & afternoon boat ride to Kazinga Channel, return to have an evening game driver before  you retire for dinner and overnight in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National – Kibale Forest National Park

Leave Queen Elizabeth and Kibale National Park in the morning via Kasese town to refuel your cars while enjoying the views of Mountain Rwenzori (Mountain Rwenzori is the highest mountain in Uganda with an altitude of 5109 m also known as Mountains of the Moon), for dinner and overnight shall be served at your hotel of choice (BLD)

Day 6: Kibale Forest National Park

This day you will enter searching for Chimpanzees and other primates including red tailed and grey cheek Mangabey and other primates, the guide will provide detailed explanations not only on primates but also the forest fauna and flora and will ensure that your walk is both informative and enjoyable.  This walk is excellent for viewing bird life and seeing primate at close quarter’s dinner and overnight (BLD)

Day 7: Kibale Forest National Park – Murchison Falls National Park

All day drive North via Hoima to Murchison through verdant countryside and past traditional homesteads and farms, Paraa rest in the shadow of the fabled Savannah, dinner and overnight (BLD)

Day 8: Murchison Falls National Park

Will include early morning game drive enabling you to see the Giraffe, lions Elephants, Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck hyena and if your lucky, the leopard and a three hours launch trip in the afternoon, allows you more bird watching of species like the shoebill and animals like: – crocodiles, hippos and elephants. You will be served lunch, have a short rest then proceed to enjoy a game drive for the rest of the afternoon before retiring to your camp for dinner and overnight night rest (BLD)

Day 9: Murchison Falls National Park – Kampala

Return back to Kampala or Entebbe depending on where your accommodation is located, otherwise transfer to the airport to catch your flight back home. (BL)
